The actress appears as a blonde named Gwen Stacey in “The Amazing Spider-Man”, but says the look is more natural for her than most would think.

“I’m actually a natural blonde. I’m blonde at the roots but red at heart,” she said.

The actress also revealed she is addicted to reading about herself in newspapers and magazines.

“I’m not one of these people that must disassociate themselves from it or has to cut it off. Other than I get addicted to it, so I have to do it in moderation,” she said.

“I get addicted to the internet. I have a Twitter account. I look at it a lot, but I don’t tweet. I’d be terrified that I’d say something and never be able to live it down,” she added.

‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ actress constantly gets asked if she is ”D.T.F” after a phrase used in her film ‘Superbad’, but even such an offensive question doesn’t annoy her as much as people singing Natasha Bedingfield’s ‘A Pocket Full of Sunshine’ at her after her character in ‘Easy A’.

She said: ”After ‘Superbad’ I always get, ‘Are you D.T.F?’ But more than anything, what I get is ‘Pocketful of Sunshine’ being sung to me. That song is the worst.”

Emma, 23, would also prefer it if people called her Em, as it would represent her real name – which is Emily – as well as her stage name.

She explained to Empire magazine: ”My real name’s Emily, but it was taken at the Screen Actors’ Guild, and so I had to change it to Emma when I was 16.

”So everyone that I’ve grown up with, or that I know now calls me Em. It’s across the board, both names, it works. I wish people would just call me Em all the time. Em stone, it’s easy.”

The filmmaker Jason Reitman, who is organizing this Live Read event to be held on Friday at the TimesCenter in Manhattan, said on Wednesday that Mr. Rudd, a star of comedies like “Role Models,” “Knocked Up” and “I Love You, Man,” will play C. C. Baxter, the “Apartment” protagonist who lends his home to co-workers for their after-hours trysts. Ms. Stone, whose films include “The Help,” will play Fran Kubelik, an elevator operator with whom Baxter falls in love, helping him find a new outlook on life.

Mr. Reitman previously announced on his Twitter feed that James Woods will play the role of Baxter’s boss, Sheldrake (portrayed in the original film by Fred MacMurray); Tom Cavanagh (“Ed”) will succeed Ray Walston as Dobisch; and Cara Buono (“Mad Men”) will take over from Edie Adams as Sheldrake’s secretary, Miss Olsen. David Wain, who directed Mr. Rudd in his films “Role Models,” “Wanderlust,” “The Ten” and “Wet Hot American Summer,” will play Baxter’s neighbor Dr. Dreyfuss, portrayed in the film by Jack Kruschen. The cast also includes Jason Sudeikis (“Saturday Night Live”) and Lena Dunham (“Girls”).

The Academy Award-winning screenplay for “The Apartment” was written by Mr. Wilder and I. A. L. Diamond; the film also won Oscars for best film and best director (Mr. Wilder) and earned nominations for the performances of Mr. Lemmon, Ms. MacLaine and Mr. Kruschen.
